About us

360 Degree Films is a film and television production company based in Melbourne. It’s principals, Sally Ingleton and John Moore have both been major players in the Australian industry for the past 25 years. Apart from producing and directing a broad slate of projects they have both contributed and supported the Australian industry by regularly teaching at film schools, mentoring young directors, and being active members of industry bodies such as the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) and the SPAA/ADG Documentary Council (SADC).
John and Sally joined forces because of their shared commitment to making documentaries that matter. At the heart of the philosophy of 360 Degree Films is the belief that it is possible to make insightful, entertaining films that inform, empower and inspire people to make better decisions about their lives. We make films that take audiences to all corners of the globe and help them to understand a world beyond the headlines.
John and Sally's previous companies were Singing Nomads Productions Pty Ltd and John Moore Productions Pty Ltd.
Singing Nomads Productions (SNP) was incorporated in 1991 by Sally Ingleton (see-attached resume). Sally graduated from Swinburne Film and Television School in 1984. Since then she has produced and directed award winning documentaries for the Australian and international market. Principal clients have included ABC, SBS, Channel Four, BBC, Discovery Channel and NHK Japan. The documentaries cover social issues, anthropology, science, environment, natural history and marine based topics.
She was awarded an Australian Film Commission Documentary Fellowship in 1996.
John Moore Productions (JMP) was set up in 1996 by its principal John Moore to produce documentaries based on strong stories and major social issues. Prior to the establishment of JMP John worked at Open Channel where he was responsible for producing and executive producing a wide range of award winning programming.
